Vessel Name & Description *

Include the vessel name, IMO number, flag state, DWT, and type. These details are required for customs, port authority, and insurance purposes.

Charter Type * Voyage Charter — single trip, owner pays operating costs Time Charter — fixed period, charterer pays fuel/port costs Bareboat Charter — charterer operates and crews the vessel

Time charters are most common for industrial shipping. Bareboat charters transfer operational control to the charterer. Voyage charters are used for spot cargo movements.

Charter Rate / Hire *

State the hire rate in the agreed currency. Time charter rates are typically per day; voyage charter rates are per metric ton of cargo.

Cargo Description

Specify cargo type, quantity, and any cargo-specific requirements (temperature, humidity, hazmat classification). Incompatible cargo can void the charter and create liability.
