Questions about the Referral Agreement

It sets out what the company sells, what counts as a qualified referral, how the referral partner registers a referral, how the referral fee is calculated and when it is paid, how the partner may promote the company, and what fees are still owed after the agreement ends.

Yes. Choose a flat fee for each qualified referral, a percentage of the customer's first payment, or a percentage of what the company receives from the customer during its first months, with an optional cap per referral.

The agreement uses a first-to-register approach. The fee goes to the person who registered the customer first, and a customer the company already knew about does not count as a new referral.

Not always. Some licensed professions and regulated industries limit or prohibit paying for referrals. The agreement says no fee is payable where applicable law does not allow it, and each side remains responsible for checking the rules that apply to it.
