What this document does

A contract between a photo booth provider and the person or business booking a booth for a wedding, corporate event, birthday, school event, or other occasion, covering the booth type and rental hours, idle time and overtime, the attendant, the space, power, and internet the venue must provide, package inclusions and print size, template design and approval, what happens if the booth fails, the online gallery and other deliverables, use of event images, the package price, travel and add-on fees, the retainer and balance, cancellation and rescheduling, damage by guests, and liability. Questions about the Photo Booth Rental Contract

The event, date, and venue; the type of booth and the hours it is open; whether an attendant comes with it; the space, power, and internet the venue must provide; what the package includes and the print size; when the design proof is due; what happens if the booth fails; how the gallery or USB is delivered; whether the provider may use the photos; the price, retainer, and balance; and the cancellation terms.

Yes. Enter the number of hours the booth stands set up but closed, for example during dinner, and the charge per idle hour; the contract adds the idle-hour total to the package price. Overtime is charged per hour or part of an hour if the client asks to keep the booth open on the day and the provider can stay.

Yes. Choose "no attendant" and the contract makes the client responsible for supervising the booth, keeping the props and equipment safe, and calling the provider if the booth stops working. With an attendant, the contract lists the attendant's duties instead.

You set how many minutes the provider has to get the booth working again. After that, the client may choose to have the rental hours extended by the time lost or to receive a pro-rated refund for that time. The contract also says whether the provider brings backup equipment and excludes venue power cuts and internet outages.

That is the client's choice. If the client says yes, the provider may use the images in its portfolio and social media, must remove a specific image on request, and the client is responsible for telling guests that photos are being taken. If the client says no, the provider keeps the images private and shares them only with the client and guests.

The retainer, entered as an amount or a percentage of the total fee, is paid at signing and is not refunded on a cancellation by the client. A cancellation inside the window you choose also owes the percentage of the balance you set. If the provider cancels, everything is refunded, including the retainer.
