Collecting Deposits

Common Landlord Mistakes to Avoid
- Missing the deadline: Late returns often mean forfeiting your right to deduct
- No itemization: You must provide a detailed breakdown of deductions
- Deducting for wear: Normal wear and tear is never deductible
